This past weekend we had a blast! We took Henry to the Tonitown Grape Festival and to the Gentry Wilderness Safari Zoo. He had so much FUN!!!!

We didn't ride any rides at the festival. Next year will be here before we know it and he will be able to ride them. He loved eating spaghetti at MaMa Z's. We had a great dinner withe Fulcher's and Len and Kathy Edens. Henry and Grayson were so behaved at dinner. Henry got to watch G ride the Merry Go Around. I think he was a bit envious but we knew he was more tired:)!

He got to see many animals at the zoo. He called all of them "Gou Gou" which is dog in Chinese. He even got to drive with Da Da and pet Baby Lions. We met the Chaneys and Sachdevs at the zoo. It was the most perfect Saturday morning there. The temperature wasn't too hot at all.

The most amazing thing happened this weekend. I was giving H a bath and all of sudden H was standing up all my himself with the biggest grin on his face. I was screaming for Da Da to come and see it. I told Da Da what H had done but don't be upset if he doesn't do it again. Both sat there for a moment and all of sudden H stood up again. This time for at least 30 seconds or longer. Wow....growing up so fast. I told Dada that he might start walking while he was going to be out of town and sure enough...8/9 Monday, I went and picked H up from school and I witnessed him taking two steps towards me. All the teachers were clapping and screaming and all the kids were crying. They got soooo scared. I had tears in her eyes thinking how thankful I was for seeing that instead of hearing about it. 8/11-- So today I went back to pick him up from school and his teacher told me he took four steps today. They said, "Henry was so proud." I am so proud of him. Now, I am really going to have my hands full with him. Well, the positive I might shed a few pounds chasing him. Ha!
