We have had a great summer so far. Obviously super busy since I haven't updated any pictures of Henry.
We have stayed home all summer hanging out with friends and family. Henry has so far been sick twice. We had another double ear infection last month and currently fighting a viral infection in his throat. He cut his first tooth on 7/22. Big day, first tooth, first time being 10 months old!
Back when he was 8 months old, crazy to say....My best friend Kara from
Nine months just passed us by....Henry got to see fire works at the Fayetteville Country Club, attended his first Crawfish and Shrimp Party at the Elk's Lodge. Henry's best friends all were there. He played hard all weekend with Mac, Grayson and others by the pool side. Henry did great with the fireworks. After like the third shot off he fell asleep :)! What a great kid!!!!
So not sure where the rest of July went but now Henry's 10 months old. He's been super fun. He's walking assisted everywhere around the house, crawling super fast, eating big people food, says a few words like momma, dada, gou gou (dog in Chinese) now. He's not sleeping through the night yet. I am praying hard that day will come soon. He just loves to Play Hard and No Sleep for some reason. I know he doesn't get that from his momma because she loves to sleep!
Henry loves to pick on our family dog Louie. Louie of course is the best dog in the world because he doesn't bark and doesn't bite. Super friendly!!!! Henry just grabs Louie by the neck, tail, leg what ever he can get his hand on. Henry really thinks it's funny when Louie squeaks when H is hurting Louie. This is not a really good thing. Henry is going to think all dogs are like that and one day he will get bit. Don't what to be there when that happens!
Henry got to meet his second and third cousins this summer too. Alicia, Allee and Aaron. We had a nice dinner with grandparents, Uncle David and Cousins at Noodles. Great Times! Now we just hope that can come back to live in NWA so we could see them more.
Momma, I left Henry and Aaron for the very first time for a long weekend with my home town girlfriends. It was scary but I knew they would be great! It was good they got to hang out all weekend and just be boys. Not sure what my kid ate or wore. J/K! That isn't what I am worried about. I actually missed my boys so much. Maybe it would have been easier if I had left H more when he was younger for my sanity. I could hear him whine when he heard by voice on speaker and it just made me cry. He was soooo confused.
Well I am going to rest now since I am exhausted with sick baby. You know the saying...."Sleep when your baby sleeps." Well I really think I should live by that but I know it's totally hard.
